Steps for the Filler-Dissolving Injection Program
- The doctor assesses the issue to determine whether the type of filler injected can be dissolved
- Inject hyaluronidase into the area where the filler needs to be dissolved
- Wait for results; it takes about 24–48 hours for the filler to begin dissolving
- Follow up within 2–3 weeks to check whether all the filler has dissolved and assess the skin before deciding whether to have new filler injected
Things to Know
- Only HA fillers can be dissolved Fake or permanent fillers cannot be dissolved with this enzyme
- Mild swelling may occur after the injection and gradually improve
- If you want to have new filler injected, wait at least 1–2 weeks
